Focus is given to the smartphone's edges and in particular, the flaps that cover the device ports and slots.

We are just a few days away from the IFA 2014 and at this time of the year, the leaks surrounding the expected devices just increase tremendously and this is happening for Sony’s latest flagship. However, this leak is rather ambiguous and instead of making things clear for us, it has left us with tons of questions in mind. The leak primarily focuses on the edges of the phone and the flaps which cover the ports and slots on the device. Though we are certain the design falls in line with the usual premium taste of Sony, there is nothing much out of the world associated with this leak.

Sony has adopted a very consistent approach as far as the design of its smartphones is concerned. All their phones appear to have a unibody look to them and this is why all openings on the phone, which are otherwise left open, are covered using flaps. However, the flaps have been removed in this leak and they give us an inside look at the Xperia Z3's micro USB port, SIM card slot, and microSD card slot. The leak fails to cover all edges of the phone and thus unfortunately we cant really figure out the unique placement of the power button that Sony debuted in the Xperia Z1.
