Judge Slaps Lien On His Texas Home For Not Paying Legal Fees
Pretty sure we all remember the nasty divorce episode of the former football star Deion Sanders with Pilar Sanders. According to sources, the football star has fumbled court orders in order to pay his ex wife the legal fee that was the ultimate outcome of their divorce last year and there is a possibility that this might cause him his home. Some documents have emerged and have been revelaed by RadarOnline.com which show that the NFL Networkanalyst is refusing to cough up $275,000 which he owes to Pilar’s lawyer, Larry Friedman.

According to the attorney, Deion Sanders hasn’t paid a cent of all that he owed and hence the attorney had to file some legal papers Collin County, Texas, slapping a lien on Sander’s extravagant Prosper, Texas mansion. So in this case, Sanders wouldn’t really have a choice because even if decides not to pay his debt, the officials could very well sell his property to pay off the attorney’s debt. As the couple’s 14 year marriage came to an end, the home remained quite controversial for some time.
Sanders has also been cited for misdemeanor simple assault after a fight in 2012 after which Pilar was arrested for misdemeanor family violence. While talking to Good Morning America, Sanders said “When you have an allegation that I’ve hit you, that I’ve touched you, that I’ve assaulted you? That’s straight-up ignorant . . . I can’t be alleged the guy that’s lost his mind. That’s not who I am or what I am. I’m opening up schools. I’m doing many things for the community. I have endorsements.”
