Tuesday, after flames continued to fan over Kendall’s behavior, the KUWTK cutie, 18, broke her silence and attempted to set the record straight about her rumored rambunctious behavior last week.
these rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone's face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that— Kendall Jenner (@KendallJenner) August 12, 2014
The backstory to this “divas gone wild” gossip – should the rumor pan out – has multiple layers, but because the incident involved a former teen drama star – and Kendall Jenner – it’s not shocking at the pace the word got out.
Randall Blaine Morris played the role of Betty Nardone on MTV’s Skins in 2011. The show was an offshoot of the U.K. drama of the same name. After its U.S. debut, the show came under fire for its raunchy sexual content and allegations of sexual indecency/themes, as most of the cast were younger than 18.
Although Kendall’s server had a minor role in the series, word got out like wildfire on social media, for obvious reasons, thanks to Morris’ tweet.
An unnamed witness came forward and dished on the incident after the server posted the news on Twitter. It’s unknown if they are in any way related to Morris, but their comments runs counter to Kendall’s version of the events.
On the eve of the money-throwing fiasco, Kendall Jenner was having dinner with Stephen Baldwin’s daughter, Hailey, at Mercer Kitchen in New York’s SoHo.
“Kendall got up and left and didn’t pay for all the food . . . about $60 worth, and without a tip,” said Morris.
They continued that the waitress pursued the two celebs to remind them about the unsettled bill. That’s when the alleged incident of throwing money took place.
“Kendall and Hailey started laughing. Kendall took a couple of $20 bills out of her wallet, threw them at the server and walked away, not even counting if it was enough or if it included a tip,” added Morris.
The leggy 18-year-old has been in the public’s eye long before she came of age. Recently, a number of tabloids have reported that KJ wanted to leave from underneath the shadow of her famous family, something she quickly denied.
However, it’s clear that whatever Kendall Jenner does, like her older sisters, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian, rumors are likely to color their lives. In the final analysis, Hollywood and reality TV are alive and well.
