And he had asked for them to pray for his family who would have to survive without him. Josh wrote the following note on his Facebook page on Aug. 14, which was deleted later on but screen was grabbed by Taste of Country.
"I've loved her for 17 years ... I made mistakes ... I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her help the most... I love you all.. You have given me the greatest gift. You allowed me to touch your hearts with what I loved to do the most... Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music ... Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye."
The law enforcement authorities arrived at his home to confirm the fact and found out that he was okay. Josh Gracin had finished fourth on American Idol. Josh was a Marine and had millions of fans.
Josh had later on been taken aboard by Lyric Street Records. His “Nothing to Lose” reached #1 in 2005. Josh Gracin has seen great success with his albums and chart-busting songs.
According to THR, American Idol alum "was signed to Lyric Street Records and would go on to chart 11 singles on the Hot Country Songs chart, including the No. 1 "Nothin' To Lose" in 2005. His self-titled debut album, released in 2004, hit No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart and No. 11 on the Billboard 200. It sold 705,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. He followed it with two further albums, 2008's We Weren't Crazy (No. 4 on Country Albums) and 2011's Redemption (No. 39 on Country Albums)."
What prompted him to write such a depressing note remains somewhat inconclusive. There already has been a death among the American Idol community.
Michael Johns died on August 2nd, 2014 and the cause of his demise remains a mystery up until now. It turns out that Josh Gracin’s note was due to his wife’s turning her back on him.
He spoke of how he loved her for almost two decades and now she was not going to be with him anymore. Josh spoke of how he had told his wife the truth and how she was leaving him.
When police reached his residence they found his wife there but there were no signs of Josh. They called him and he returned and now everything is fine.
Later on Josh posted a message online saying that he was sorry he put his fans through so much pain and worry. See the tweet of Josh's manager below.
This is Josh's manager, Amy. Thank you everyone for your prayers & concern. Josh is safe & with his family now. I promise to update soon.— Josh Gracin (@joshgracin) August 14, 2014
