The Chicago Bears player, Jay Cutler and his wife, Kristin Cavallari are facing parenthood together.
Jay Cutler is an asset for the Chicago Bears. He has played well for his team and done a good job of allowing them to win time after time.
“Jay has been incredible,” guard Matt Slauson said. “The way he has taken ownership in this offense and the way he leads us as a team has been great. And his play on the field has been really great.”
“The offensive line is playing at a really high level,” Cutler said.
“We want to get the running game [going] a little bit better than we did early on. We went three-and-out, and then we kind of had to wait around for a long time. That was tough. But we bounced back, converted some third downs. The offensive line gave me a lot of time. It wasn’t our cleanest drive, but we got the job done.”
Ok guys. Gotta sleep some before this Boston flight. I'm in Danvers MA this Sat Maine on Sunday for events!— Jay Cutler (@mrojaycutler) August 15, 2014
“It all starts with the offensive line,” coach Marc Trestman said. “He had a long time [on the throw to Bennett]. He was very comfortable. The line did a great job. On the touchdown pass, the same thing — the buzzer had gone off.”
His wife meanwhile is a fashion model and she is none other than the inimitable Kristin Cavallari. And she is a working woman.
While her husband takes the Chicago Bears to victory after victory, his wife cohosted The Fabulist and designed a new shoe series.
Kristin had a baby for the second time in a row recently and she also supported her hubby in the challenges he faces in his career as a sportsman.
She appears on the cover of cover of Michigan Ave. And she spoke in an accompanied interview about how she juggles various responsibilities. Life can get tough sometimes but ultimately it had everything to do with hanging in there. Kristin loves the venue of Chicago as the city with broad shoulders which is its epithet.
Kristin spoke of how Jaxon, her newly born son was a very happy baby but not such a great sleeper. So she was trying to get him to sleep well. Her older son was named Camden.
She talked about the daily napping routines of her two sons. Childrearing may be a full time job but ultimately it amounted to giving quality time to the kids.
Quality beat quantity every time. Kristin said that while her original plan with her husband was to have four children by now they have pared that number down to three. So there is always room for one more down the road.
“Before we had children, Jay and I both wanted four, and now we’re thinking three, but we’re just going to have to see how it goes. Right now the last thing on my mind is having another baby, but it is a ton of fun,” she said.
“We love having kids; Camden is going to be two in August, and it’s such a fun age. He’s just starting to talk, and he makes us laugh every single day. So I do think we’ll end up having another one, but then we’re done. It’s a lot of work, and being pregnant for a full nine months isn’t the best thing in the world.”
She expatiated on how Jay was such a wonderful dad. He liked doing various activities in tandem with his two sons. And of course he was an ideal spouse to boot.
“Jay is a great dad. He’s incredibly hands-on, and he has been since day one,” said Cavallari.
“It’s so sweet seeing him with Camden and Jax, and there’s nothing sexier than seeing your husband as a great dad. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this situation.”
As for football, it was a regular topic in their home. She was not sure whether it would be a good idea to take her elder son Camden to a football game in the season which had arrived.
Meanwhile, her fashion and style responsibilities remained intact. And her life itself was a balancing act. Her whole family is in Chicago and she loves living there.
