The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may be about to come with a large 2915mAh battery if a newly leaked photo is any indication.
From what we have gathered from the recent leak of the 5.5 inch iPhone 6, we can tell that it is going to feature a gigantic 2915mAh battery. Apple’s event of September 9th is scheduled for the announcement of the iPhone 6 and there is no confirmation whether both the models will be announced or not. But there are more votes for the 4.7 inch model being introduced first since the larger phablet version experienced some bottlenecks in the production process. Even if both the phones are to be announced on this date, we understand that the 5.5 inch would come for sale later on.

The recently leaked photo comes from the Chinese site Apple Daily and it apparently shows the battery of the and because of the proportions and the capacity, we can judge that it is the 5.5 inch iPhone 6. Anyone who has ever had the chance to own an iPhone must certainly know the importance of having longer battery lives and this is why larger screens are needed. Larger screens have given a chance to manufacturers to increase the battery size and it is important to understand that larger screens are not just intended towards making things look bigger.
This 2915mAh battery we just talked about is larger than any other battery ever featured on an iPhone and is smaller than the 2100mAh battery of the 4.7 inch version. The photo shows us that the battery has a part number of 616-0675 and runs at 4.35 volts but no model number has been mentioned.
