ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Accepted by Justin Bieber, Jon Bon Jovi, Tim Cook and many more

Bieber was nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge by his manager Scooter Braun. The challenge spreads awareness about Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Bieber was seen toppling buckets of icy water over his head again and again. Later on the youthful Bieber nominated Ellen DeGeneres, President Barack Obama and Chris Delia.

Justin Bieber posted the video of him taking ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with caption, "I accept, now I nominate @Theellenshow my main man President Barack Obama and @chrisdelia #alsicebucketchallenge"

Next day, Bieber again take the challenge and even nominated all his followers, the Beliebers of the world. He also said that they might have an ice bucket with them somewhere.

He posted the second video with caption, "I Nominate all the #BELIEBERS for the #alsicebucketchallenge". See it below.

Bieber’s scheme was a success since many of his fanatical fans started pouring in funds for the challenge immediately. After posting these videos, many of Bieber's fans accepted his challenge and also donated money to the cause.

Among the group of celebs who have taken the challenge may be included: Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Iggy Azalea, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Apple's SVP of marketing Phil Schiller.

Meanwhile, Jon bon Jovi also undertook the test of one’s limits. Governor Chris Christie and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft helped pour the bucket over his head. He was there to personally buck him up.

“On behalf of myself and my friends back here, I want you to know I wanted to be the first to rise to the occasion. I accept the challenge,” he says. Then he gives the signal: “Okay, guys.”

And Jon bon Jovi followed the custom of nominating more to take ALS ice bucket challenge. He announced names of his musician friends David Bryan, Tico Torres and Richie Sambora to take the challenge.

On the other hand, the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, also took up the challenge with all the fire and zeal of a warrior and crusader.

The scene was a sight to see as one of the most technologically powerful men and leader of the largest high tech firm Apple Incorporated got soaking wet.

The very bracing and harsh experience is meant to highlight the sacrifices the celebs and famous figures are willing to make for the sake of spreading awareness about the debilitating disease for which no cure has been found yet.

Dr Dre too has been nominated. Now that is one tough individual whose reaction to the cold liquid going over his body will be a delightful thing to see.

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg who happen to be the CEOs of Microsoft and Facebook respectively have also been partakers of the challenge. They too have been there and done that.

And it is hoped that the candle for a cure to this disease will be kept burning by many more rich and famous faces as they have a bucket full of ice cold water tipped over their frame leading to a sharp “ouch” that escapes their lips.
