LG is to showcase a brand new smart watch at the IFA fair. It will be on display for the crowd of geeks and nerds to look at in all its glory.
Termed the “G Watch 2”, the wearable device will be introduced to the world on the platform of the IFA fair. The progressive movement for the use of wearable gadgets has just started on a whole new level.
The competition is very tough and it mainly consists of Google. With the IFA fair being the real deal, the time has come for this contraption by LG Electronics to enter the global equation.
IFA is the biggest technology fair in Europe that starts every year in September. "LG Electronics was working on a September release for the new smartwatch alongside Google's wearable platform," an official at LG told The Korea Times by telephone, last week.
"The IFA fair may be the venue to see the upgraded smartwatch. The debuts of the smartwatch will be coming at the IFA."
Qualcomm’s processors will be found implanted within the smart watches. Thus this is high quality stuff that will function smoothly and without any hitches.
However, there is some controversy as to whether or not LG will display this widget among its list of products at the fair. When asked to comment on the matter, representatives of LG refused to further discuss the matter.
"LG Electronics is being approached by a lot of authoritative watchmakers for strategic collaboration. They need us and LG also wants to use their well-known brand image to boost the awareness of our smartwatches in key target markets," an official at LG Group of affiliates said.
Meanwhile, Apple’s iWatch is reported to be in the pipeline. Apple Incorporated is in the process of deciding whether to go ahead or not with the wearable venture.
It seems the next few years will transform the very landscape and mind-scape of the third wave that is computers and information technology. There will be an explosive revolution in wearable devices.
And they will be the game-changer that makes the crucial difference in the scenario that unfolds in the future. Among the players that are in the field may be included: Samsung, Motorola, Google and several others.
Such gizmos as smart phones and tablets not to mention “phablets” will all be a thing of the past. They will go into extinction the way of the dinosaurs. And then a brand new day will shine through the avalanche of time and it will be an age of wearable devices.
It might seem unbelievable at present but the future holds quite a few surprises up its sleeve. The center will not hold and everything that is solid will disappear into thin air.
