The rumored fully reversible USB cable coming with the iPhone 6 is real. Videos surfaced of it working.

This week rumors started to break that the iPhone 6 would coming with a Lightning cable that is also reversible on the USB plug side. This is adds a lot of convenience using this cable. My initial question was if this is working with existing USB ports and apparently it really does. Notorious Apple leaker Sonny Dickson is back with videos that are demonstrating the new reversible iPhone 6 lightning cable.

9to5Mac has published two short videos demonstrating the new reversible USB cable. It shows an iPhone charging after plugging in the cable in a MacBook both ways.

The leak of the reversible USB cable also include the retail box of the cable. Apple is again set to make a fortune on a cable.

Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 6 on September 9. The reversible USB would have been a nice little surprise during the keynote, but again this iPhone 6 feature has leaked ahead of the Apple reveal.

With the reversible Lightning to USB cable, the rumored wireless charging option seems less likely.
