Dave Chappelle made a surprise appearance in Hartford over the weekend. Exactly a year ago he bombed on stage there. It is kind of unimaginable, but Dave Chappelle got heckled off stage in Hartford during his Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival Tour.
Now he made piece with the Hartford audience a year later. The audience welcomed him with standing ovations and he did a funny set after talking a while about the incident a year ago. He said he handled it immaturely. He continued to make fun of last year's incident later in his piece as the audience was cheering.
There is a smartphone video of Dave Chappelle's appearance in Hartford on Youtube. Watch it below.
Dave Chappelle quit his super successful TV show back in 2006. Chappelle talked to Letterman in June about the reasons why he quit. Watch here. He still does stand-up and that in a big way. He had a run at the Radio City Music Hall in New York earlier this summer.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
