Kate Beckinsale will be joined by Lucas Till, whom we all know for his role of Havok in the recent X-Men movies, Relativity Studios thriller The Disappointments Room. The film is going to be directed by D.J. Caruso who has also directed the famous Disturbia and the screenplay originally comes from Wentworth Miller, whom we also saw in Prison break. The writer is also known for his famous script in Stoker. However, the script hasn’t been entirely used in its original form because director Caruso managed to rewrite it.

The movie revolves around the story of a mother, played by Kate Beckinsale, who has moved her family into a nice country house. The place has its own dark secrets which are uncovered only after the discovery of a secret room in the attic. The suspense element here is that the bloody past of this home is somehow linked to her own. Till’s character on the other hand isn’t presented so clearly and is also subject to some criticism and being labeled as flashy. He will play the role of a mysterious carpenter who works on the family's home.
The shooting of the movie is going to begin from September 8th in North Carolina and the producing team includes Geyer Kosinski, Tucker Tooley and Demarest Films.
