Motorola is expected to take the wraps off the successor to the Moto X and the Moto G, and the Moto 360 smartwatch.

Motorola’s event is coming on September 4th and we are expecting to see the Moto X and the Moto G, and the Moto 360 smartwatch as Motorola is planning to uncover these on the event. The event is only a few days away from us and as expected the leaks haven’t stopped as yet. The leakster TKTechNews has recently shared a video with us which shows some live photos of what is going to be the Moto X successor.

The device shown in the video is one of the variants of the Moto X successor with a wooden back and we can clearly see the front and back of the phone. The leakster tells us that the Motorola logo we see at the back of the device is actually a power button but more conflicts have risen pertaining to the four sensors at the front. There are two possibilities which have been presented forth by the leakster itself and these say that the sensors could either be for Motorola’s new Moto Aware feature, or they could be cameras to track the user’s face movements similar to what Amazon Fire phone does. The Moto Aware is a new feature which has the ability to automatically change your phone’s settings, security settings, and UI based on your location or time of day.

Well these leaked images are not all that we have. Phandroid has come across a Verizon page which has listed the Moto X+1 but the device is actually being called ‘The new Moto X.’ Apart from this webpage, some internal documents have also surfaced and they are also referring to the new phone as ‘The new Moto X.’

If we recall all the previous leaks related to the Moto X+1 or the new Moto X, then we already know that the upcoming Motorola device is going to sport an impressive 5.2-inch 1080p display and will be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Most of the rumors and leaks so far have indicated towards a 12 MP camera along with a front facing shooter of 2 MP which is quite impressive considering the rest of the offerings in this segment. The phone will have two internal storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB however there is not going to be any support for microSD.
