Apple might reveal an updated version of its iPad Air next week.
According to KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will reveal an updated version of its iPad Air next week. Via Apple Insider, Kuo believes that the iPad Air 2 will feature a fully-laminated touch panel as well as an anti-reflective screen coating.

In addition to the purported features, the iPad Air 2 is said to be powered by a next-generation A8 processor and will likely adopt the iPhone 5S's Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Kuo is a reputable analyst and Apple observer. When he speaks, everybody listens. But Kuo could be wrong.
Apple will usually announce its new iPads in the month of October. If you're looking for a new iPad mini, don't get your hopes too high. Kuo thinks that there is a small chance that Apple will update its iPad mini line-up this year. However, Kuo didn't provide an explanation to his analysis. Apple's tablet business has declined in the last few quarters.
