The darling of the viewing crowd, Pepper, will get featured in American Horror Story once again.
American Horror Story: Freak Show will be displaying some pretty weird oddities including: a psycho circus clown, a pair of Siamese twins and a girl with three nubbins on her bust.

But the latest from the grapevine is indeed good news. Pepper is about to make a comeback on the show. This novel occurrence has sent the diehard fans of the lady into a wild commotion and drunkard frenzy.
“She is in this [season],” American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed EW.
There had been flying rumors but now it has been confirmed. Pepper is a freak alright but she has been rescued from obscurity and tragedy by the philanthropic Elsa Mars (played by Jessica Lange).
Elsa becomes the caretaker and caregiver to these people who are misfits of Nature. The show must indeed go on though! Pepper is about to jump right back into the fray!
“What Elsa has done for 20 years is she goes around to hospitals and jails and rescues these ‘freak’ circus performers who are going to be shipped away to asylums and she signs the waivers and she becomes their guardians,” Murphy explained.
So Freak Show, according to Murphy, “is sort of like what happened to Pepper before she went to the asylum.”
The micro-cephalic character is a lovable addition to the television show. There have been other shows that featured all sorts of incredible characters on television.
And there have been films as well that have dealt with physical and psychological handicaps. The show Geeks and Freaks was one of them. And then there was the inimitable Rocky Horror Show.
Some of these programs may be a little shocking and disturbing to those with bourgeois values, but to the masses, they are their very lifeblood. The amusement value of these shows is beyond the imagination of many highbrows.
High culture had its charms but no one wants to delve back into the boring and bleak classics nowadays. It is neo-romantic and surrealistic times we are living in.
“We thought about it long and hard and we decided that it was interesting to do,” admits Murphy.
Scenes of Pepper dancing and clapping her hands on the American Horror Story in tandem with a crowd of party-loving people is something which takes us back to our childhood days when the circus, with its strange yet amusing paraphernalia, was the height of pleasurable sensationalism.
