Korean giant subtly takes credit for inspiring it rival to enter the phablet market.
We don’t even need to go into the ‘whys’ and ‘whens’ of the Apple and Samsung rivalry and everything either of them does is always a signal towards the other one. Just after Apple’s September 9th event when it announced the iPhone 6 and the iWatch, Samsung bashed Apple up in a bunch of videos which came in shortly after the event. And now Samsung has another ad which clearly hits on Apple but thankfully this time it’s not that blunt.

The videos which came out earlier this week were from Korea but the latest promo ad for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been created by the company’s marketing team in the US. This new ad first gives a brief history of the Galaxy Note at the start and sheds some light on the feedback which was received initially. If we recall, the experts were not so impressed with the large size of the Note but things have changed ever since then and now people would really give a lot of importance to the screen size. So basically the ad shows that the Samsung Note set the trend for larger screens and this is what inspired its biggest rival to bring in the iPhone 6 Plus.
