Lesley Ann Warren who played the television version of Cinderella will view the Broadway play of the same name.

She has appeared on Telly Land in the form of the delicate and lucky Cinderella. But, Lesley Ann Warren, will be sitting pretty in the audience and watching a Broadway version of the play soon.

This lady was in the 1965 TV show titled Cinderella which was all about the famous fairy tale. She will be seeing Roger & Hammerstein’s remake on the platform known as Broadway.

Lesley Ann Warren will even get to join the actors and actresses during the finale to sing “10 Minutes Ago”. Warren is super-excited and looking forward to the occasion.

"I'm really looking forward to it," Warren told Billboard. She said that she had already heard one of the songs from the Broadway show and described it as “delicious”.

The original television show titled Cinderella had other actors and actresses in it as well including: Walter Pidgeon, Stuart Damon, Ginger Rogers and Celeste Holm. It will celebrate its 50th anniversary some time next year.

Lesley Ann Warren, 68, spoke about how it was funny that over half a century had passed since the television version of Cinderella had aired publicly. She still couldn’t get over the fact that all this happened such a long time ago.

"It brought me back to that 18-year-old girl that I was creating that role," she said. "It was such a momentous experience for me."

It was a surrealistic feeling she got every time she thought about the whole thing. Warren, who was just an 18 year old chit of a girl when she first appeared in the television show, is now a matronly 68 years of age.

Yet all that remembrance of time that has passed her by seems to melt into thin air when she conjures up the memories of her youth. Warren has been nominated for an Academy Award and has also appeared in Desperate Housewives.

Especially singing the song “10 Minutes Ago” had Warren emotionally-affected since it brought back the good old days in all their nostalgic glory.

BTW, the Broadway stars include Keke Palmer as Cinderella and Sherri Shepherd as the evil stepmother. The show will last for a few months on Broadway and end on the 3rd of January, 2015.
