The iPhone 6 goes on sale at 8am on Friday. There are already lines at Apple Stores since days. If you are already in line or plan to be in line at an Apple Store tomorrow here are some important insights.
9to5Mac obtained internal documents about how the Apple Stores will manage the lines.
Expect to get to see an Apple Store employee starting at 5am. At this point the line will be separated into walk-in customers and those who pre-ordered and want to pick their iPhone 6 up.
Walk-in customers then receive a reservation place holder which is going to be digital. Customers get the pass via SMS or email onto their phone and it can be stored in Passbook.
Apple is expected to hand out coffee and water to waiting customers.
At 8am the doors are opening and the iPhones will be handed out to customers in both lines until they are gone.
