Apple always tends to be conservative with RAM
Apple hasn’t really thought about increasing its RAM over the past few years and we wouldn’t say that it ever needed an upgraded RAM because we always received the best performance. And even this time around there was no difference created in the RAM between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Both the versions have the same 1 GB RAM as suggested by the review of the phone. While we were being bombarded with the leaks pertaining to the iPhone 6, there had been speculations that the larger 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus would feature a 2 GB RAM.

According to the review of the phone, both the models are equipped with the same features apart from the display, battery and optical stabilisation in the camera of the larger model (the 4.7-inch model having only electronic stabilization). None of this comes as a surprise to us because Apple has always been very conservative when it comes to the RAM. And from production point of view, it seems logical why Apple wanted to have as many similar components for both phones as possible.
