WWE Night of Champions: The Bad and The Ugly

The much awaited WWE Night of Champions finally took place last night. First and foremost, most fans were embarrassed by the disqualifications that came calling towards the end of the fights. Some fans had actually requested for the pay-per-view while others chose to be physically present and so the outcome was not worth the money they had coughed. Everyone had anticipated that a champion would come from the seven fights.

The match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar was quite thrilling until Seth Rollins intervened by hitting Cena in the head. Rollins later shifted his focus to Lesnar in a bid to seize the opportunity from him. Since Cena was still nearby, he would not let Rollins win the match and so he intervened once more. According to Philly, Cena and Lesnar are scheduled to solve their unfinished business in the course of next month in a Hell in a Cell match.

Rollins was Desperate for a Win

Rollins was looking for every single opportunity to get victory. But as fate would have it, this was not his night. There was actually a fight that had been fixed between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Reign could not have managed to participate due to the surgery he had gone through on Saturday. Upon realizing this, Rollins declared himself a winner and challenged the other wrestlers to face him.

Perhaps he had thought no one would turn up but to his surprise, Dean Ambrose offered himself. The match did not end in victory as expected thanks to the guards who kicked the two wrestlers out of the ring. Rollins and Dean are expected to settle their flaws in a Hell in a Cell fight.

Randy Orton put up a spirited fight that saw him beat Chris Jericho. Though the match was good, Jericho was bound to loose considering that he had announced that he would be away with his band after the Night of Champions. Despite the disappointments, there were tag team champs in both Goldust and Stardust.
