A party source added to the publication: "There was a few speeches and David Walliams did one which was very funny.
"It was what David's humour is always like with Simon, he was playing out the boyfriend role."

Silverman also took the time to make a speech of her own. She broke down into tears as she declared her love to Cowell during the event. The 39-year-old was emotional as she expressed her feelings towards the music mogul, who will turn 55 this October 7th.
Simon's ex-girlfriend Sinitta also opted to make a speech at the party.

The celebrities partied and toasted Simon until the early hours of Monday morning while feasting on a selection of spare ribs, veal, halibut, risotto and vegetables, while entertainment was provided by Britain's Got Talent runner-up Lucy Kay.
