Brace yourselves X-Men fans because the writer of the hugely successful series “X-Men” just announced who will be playing in the new series. The next part of X-Men which will be called “X-Men Apocalypse”, is going to be featuring Cyclops, Jean and Storm.

Storm as we all saw in the last series died right at the end of the movie. But this time around we will be getting her back as the writer just announced the huge news.

X-Men Apocalypse will take place 10 years after where the last movie left off. During the Q&A session, Simon was asked whether the fans will get to see Storm, Cyclops or any other characters that are going to be recast in order to make up for the time jump in the last movie.

The writer said that if they were to include some of the original X-men like Storm, Jean and Scott and any others in the new movie, then yeah they would have to recast because Apocalypse takes place 20 years before X1.

The first part was released some 15 years ago. Simon said that Halle, Famke, Jimmy and others have done marvelous jobs of bringing characters to life. He also said that before First Class, there was no way that he could had found actors that could stand with the like of Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.

He also praised Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. The details from the new series which is yet to be released, are going to be a little confusing because if you remember, The Wolverine was left back at professor X’s institute where all the mutants went.

The writer would have to create new mutants because at that time, there might had been one two more mutants that weren’t dead yet. But then again, the new movie will take place where the last one was left off. We will still have the younger versions of Charles Xavier and Magneto.
