Gina Canaro is not fighting with Ronda Rousey. And she can now dominate UFC easily.
Ronda Rousey is at the top of her UFC career. Dana White has given Rousey all her blessings. Her biggest competitor Gina Canaro has left the fight to work in the movies. Can anything stop Rousey from keeping her undefeated streak alive?

This year Ronda has already defended her bantamweight title twice within two months. The UFC is hopeful that if this performance continues, she will definitely win in 2015. The UFC President Dana White assured the press during the promotional press conference for UFC 181 that Rousey is going to fight in January 2015.
Her fight in January could be the main co-event in the UFC 182 along with the Jones and Cormier light heavyweight title fight. The other probability is that she will be fighting in UFC 183 which would mark the blockbuster returns of former middleweight champion Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz.
Zingano is likely to be Rousey’s next competitor. Zingano earned her shot against Rousey once back in 2013 but she never got to fight because of a knee injury. Her return was only delayed further when her husband committed suicide. Zingano is here now and looks forward to defeat Rousey. Rousey has her 16 second victory over Alexis Davis to intimidate Zingano.
However, the victory remains bittersweet until she beats that one competitor she had set her eyes on beating. Gina Canaro has recently signed a movie titled Bus 657. She will be starring alongside Robert De Niro and David ‘Batista’ Bautista. That is not all. Rousey will have to wait some more because Gina has signed on to work in another movie in December after she finishes working on Bus 657.
This can be a bit of a setback for Rousey because she has been talking about fighting Canaro. She even went ahead and said that it was Canaro who wanted to fight Rousey. Rousey said she would love to fight Canaro at 135.
That does not seem likely to happen. I would suggest that Rousey should ask for the filming of a fighting sequence in one of the movies she is working in because Canaro does not look like she is about to return to the UFC soon.
