The cartoon will be airing on Adult Swim network. The character will be a detective who goes an extra mile to dig deep into criminal situations to unmask the people involved. The detective will be assisted by a pigeon that is able to speak.
Mike said that the idea was hatched by Warner Bros. He explained how the company executives took the long route by first speaking to his wife who would later deliver the message to him. Upon hearing that the cartoon will be on Adult Swim, the former boxer imagined that the series will be all about teaching people how to swim.
In other news, Clasicalite reported that Mike had assisted a cyclist who was knocked down by a taxi in Las Vegas. The accident's victim was Ryan Chesley. Mike had witnessed the incidence right from the start and once the victim was on the ground, he rushed to his aid.
The boxer appeared to have been heaven sent because he was at the scene to ensure the eager crowds did not touch or move him until medics showed up. While the noble gesture appeared simple to Mike, Ryan was in another world. He just couldn't figure out how he could be helped by such a boxer who is known for his vigorous punches.
Once the medics were on the scene, Mike disappeared into the crowd never to be seen again. Ryan appreciated the star's kindness by penning a thank you note and complimented it with some fresh fruits. Ryan had thought of throwing some fruits into the basket but Mike's aid, Steve Lott reminded him that the former boxer was on health kick
