The daughter of Hong Kong Chief Executive, Chai Yan Leung updated her Facebook status in which she thanked the taxpayers of Hong Kong for buying her expensive shoes.

CY Leung's daughter Chai Yan Leung posted a comment regarding her necklace in a post yesterday. She said that she has bought a beautiful necklace at Lane Crawford and it is being funded by all the taxpayers of Hong Kong.

In addition to that she said all my clothes along with designer bags and clutches are also funded by the taxpayers. To wrap it all up, she thanked everyone sarcastically.

"The necklace on my profile pic is not a dog collar, silly!!!" Chai Yan Leung wrote in her Facebook post. "This is actually a beautiful necklace bought at Lane Crawford (yes - funded by all you HK taxpayers!! So are all my beautiful shoes and dresses and clutches!! Thank you so much!!!!)".

Later on she quoted that I shouldn’t be thanking everyone since most of you are not even employed and don’t pay taxes. Thus, you have all the time in the world to bombard me with messages and irritate me.

She went on to criticize the standard of English used by people on social media. She said when reading your comments on the social media and the standard of English used, I doubt many of you even understand the term “social media platform”, but it’s okay. I am sure your mother still loves you.

All of her remarks enraged the pro-democracy protesters. Most of the pro-democracy protesters want the Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying to resign, and they have threatened to occupy the government offices, if their demands are not met.

Yet the central government fully trusts Leung Chun-ying and is content with his work, according to the mouthpiece of the ruling Communist party. Additionally the source said that they fully support the Hong Kong police, as one has to take drastic steps in order to handle illegal activities and preserve law and order.

The pro-democracy protesters are pressing for free election in Hong Kong and are becoming bolder with every passing minute. The Chinese government is losing patience and does not want other countries to interfere in their internal matters.

According to Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi the protesters are China’s internal affair and no country in the world would allow illegal acts to take place against public law and order.
