Apple is reshuffling its system of production to ensure that more iPhone 6 Plus units are manufactured as compared to the 4.7 inch iPhone 6
Most of us had been speculating that the iPhone 6 4.7 inch version would become the most popular out of the two new recently announced iPhones and it was pretty reasonable to believe so since the phablet market is still counted as a niche and for years Apple fans have been easily content with the 4 inch displays they had been getting. However, soon after the two models were thrown into the market for the hungry consumers, it turned out that all our speculations had been wrong; it so happened that the iPhone 6 Plus managed to outsell the smaller iPhone 6.

A report came out last week which was documenting reservation figures in China and according to its findings the 6 Plus was not just more popular than expected, but was actually favored over the smaller variant. And this has forced Apple to rethink its production plan which was initially set up to facilitate a larger number of smaller iPhone 6 models and less 6 Plus models. Therefore, Apple may be switching its production strategy to cope with the unforeseen interest.
Digitimes has reported that the fruit company is revamping its system of production to ensure that more iPhone 6 Plus units are manufactured. This is going to lose the priority of the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 which will be shipped less ultimately but it all seems logical in the view that the company has to ensure that it meets the demands of its customers on time.
