Mr. Klaus revealed that the Acura NSX has the acceleration of the Ferrari, but the hybrid Acura is more affordable and priced to match Audi's R8. The R8 has an MRSP of $116,000. The R8 is also the sales goal for the NSX and not the much more popular Porsche 911. Where the Acura NSX will beat the Porsche 911 is though in efficiency and cleanness.
There are no technical details yet on the performance of the Acura NSX. If it accelerates like a Ferrari 458 than the specs should be impressive. The Ferrari 458 accelerates in 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.3s.
