After suffering an injury many people think that Karina Smirnoff might not return to DWTS.
Karina Smirnoff is suffering from an injury these days. She is not able to perform on the TLC's show, Dancing With The Stars and this might be the end of the line for Karina at the show. Karina Smirnoff got injured during a rehearsal session and she might not be able to return to this season’s DWTS.

Tony Dovolani who is her costar, thinks that she has had a serious injury and he told E News that it is very difficult to say whether she will make a return. Here is what happened to Karina that led to the injury.
The professional dancer went to wet her shoes. This is done in order to get better traction. Her costar recalled that Karina slipped and she ran into the stairs. As she was falling down she hurt her shin and her arm.
He said that at first he was very afraid because he only saw half of her fall. The costar believes that she is lucky that she didn’t hurt her face or her neck.
Tony said that he talked with Karina after she was taken to the hospital. He said that she was in a lot of pain and he is hoping that she didn’t break anything.
Karina went on her Instagram to tell everyone about her injury after she was eliminated from the competition in week three. She posted a picture of herself and she wrote, “So sad I’m not able to perform tonight on the show”.

She also said that she was hurt during rehearsal and that she will be back stronger than ever. She also thanked people for their support. It was later reported that her Dancing With The Stars season was finished.
Although Karina had been knocked out, she was still making appearances at the show. When she was knocked out of the show, a lot of people on Facebook were disappointed because they loved the dancer.
The dancer is in full recovery mode and she is trying to get better sooner rather than later. She said that she is improving and is optimistic that she will be back very soon.
