According to a report by Radar Online, Lake kicked out her husband from their Marina Del Rey condo this week, amid mounting issues between the couple.
"Ricki took issue with a sudden trip Christian took to Ibiza last month, alone," a source told the website. "And he didn't call her on her birthday. She is devastated. Completely devastated."
"They really did try to make it work," a different insider shared. "For the last couple of weeks, they attended several therapy sessions together ... She told him he had changed from the man she met, and it's true. He did change."
In the past, she said about her husband, “I’m totally in love. He is a nobody, but he’s a somebody to me. He’s everything to me.”
Lake and Evans met in the summer of 2009, and married in a private ceremony in April 2012 on Ricki's birthday. She explained how her ''true'' love came to her on her 42nd birthday.
“On my 42nd birthday, true love walked into my life, and I am not letting it out. The kindest, most caring spirit was just around the corner, and I could have missed the love of a lifetime… It felt so right. At 43, I have a renewed sense of excitement about everything I do… And it didn’t dawn on me, either. I think that says everything!”
