Victoria Beckham is the most successful UK entrepreneur of 2014. Victoria’s business has grown from £1m to £30m.
Business magazine Management Today has named Victoria Beckham the UK’s most successful entrepreneur of 2014. The former Spice Girl’s firm earned over £30m last year, a rise of 2900pc in the last five years.

Philip Beresford, who compiled the list for the magazine stated that it is her business insight and her ability to make good decision that wins her the top spot. The list of Britain’s top 100 entrepreneurs is ranked by turnover growth and job creation in the last five years, using data from Companies House, combined with the entrepreneurs overall wealth.
Victoria opened her first shop in London’s Mayfair five years ago, earning just around £1m. Since then her fashion business has grown into a huge profit-making company earning around £30m and employing 100 people.’ Management Today’ stated that Victoria has become a supremely talented entrepreneur in the fashion business.
She’s got a real business, some design and some business sense, stated Andrew Saunders, the magazine’s deputy editor. He stated that Victoria has some advantage of being a fashion icon but her business success is due to her talent and hard work, something she should be celebrated for.
The 40 year old wife of David Beckham has overcome Amit and Meetal Patel, founders of Auden Mckenzie pharmaceuticals. Amit & Meetal Patel's business Auden Mckenzie turned over £52m in its latest annual accounts, a rise of 373pc in the last five years. The firm employs 79 people in the UK and is ranked second on the list. Third on the list is Mahmud Kamani, the online fashion retailer who is worth £290m. This year the business earned £110m in turnover.
These 100 entrepreneurs have added more than 61,556 employees to their businesses. The turnover among these entrepreneurs also increased from £16.1bn to £30.2bn, an increase of 88pc. This shows that these great business minds have been able to expand even when the economy has been in a depression since last year. These entrepreneurs have been ranked on the percentage growth in turnover over the past five years as this allows a level playing field for large and small companies.
