Gareth finally reaches his end by Rick’s machete as promised Bob dies in the most tearful goodbye Daryl left everyone hanging at the end
Whoa! That is what one could say about ‘Four walls and a roof’; the newest episode in the new season of the Walking Dead. The last episode was slow-paced and left our heart’s racing at the end of the episode. Bob got captured by Gareth & Co. and consumed by them. Carol and Daryl went in pursuit of the car that abducted Beth. It was all chills and thrills and they paid off in this episode of the show.

The episode started with Bob being chewed by Gareth. The course of conversation that took place between hunter and prey led us to believe that they were nemesis. How and when remains to be seen and if the producers explore that relationship, we might not be watching the last of Gareth and Bob. The scene overall was grotesque with Bob throwing up and Gareth talking about cooking them.
Rick and crew are talking about the missing members of the crew. Carol and Daryl are no where to be found and Bob’s missing too. We also come to know of Father Gabriel’s reality. We were right in the start that he closed the doors on his congregation and left them out cold to be eaten. He said that justice shall be done for his sins of forsaking his people. Just then Gareth is thrown at the steps of the church and they all find Bob heavily mutilated.
They shift him to Father Gabriel’s office where Bob tells Rick about Gareth’s hideout. Father Gabriel identifies the location and Rick wants to attack the immediately but Abe talks up of course. He gives Rick an ultimatum that if they are not done with their mission by the next day, he and the rest of the crew will leave for Washington D.C. on the bus they had found in the church courtyard. Maggie agrees despite the fact that Beth is missing. Rick knew he had to act immediately.
They leave to hunt down Gareth & Co. and as soon as they’re out of sight, the sick psycho and his man-eaters walk out from the other end to invade the church. The crew is huddled in the office beside Bob. They call out to them to come out and they are given away when Judith starts crying but before they could attack…SURPRISE!
Rick and gang have doubled back to the church to shoot down Gareth. They take them with full force and has Gareth incapacitated within a few minutes. Gareth calls to Rick’s humanly nature and ask him to let him go. He promises Rick would never see him again but Rick reminds him of the promise he made Gareth back at Terminus. Its machete time and Rick slashes away at Gareth with the red handled machete. Viewers’ discretion is advised.
After the jubilant defeat of Gareth, we saw Bob die in the most beautiful way, saying his brief goodbyes and reminding Rick that there was still hope. He dies and we wipe away tears to see the optimism in the show go or not. Abe still keeps on track and is on route to Washington. He hands Rick a map and tells him that the new country will need Rick Grimes. Thoughts to ponder…

While half of the crew is gone, one returns. Daryl appears out of the forest, hassled and haggled and tells someone behind him to come up and that all folks. Yeah, it is really frustrating that the producers have left us off in extreme anticipation about who will appear out of the forest behind him.
