The store, which will debut on December 3rd, has been built on the seabed, four meters below the sea

Good news for all the Sony fans out there, the company has officially announced that their unique Xperia Aquatech Store is heading towards completion and its debut is going to be on December 3rd off the coast of Dubai. The idea behind the store, the first of its kind, is quite exciting and simple very creative. The purpose of the shop is to give the potential customers a chance to test all the latest Sony smartphones, tablets and accessories under water. Yes you heard that right – “underwater.”

The main attractions in Sony’s first aqua store are going to be the Xperia Z3 Tablet, Xperia Z3 Compact and you won’t believe it as we say this that these products are going to be sitting four meters below the sea surface and will be ready for visitors to check out. Apart from this, there aren’t enough details on the store except for the fact that it is going to be built on the seabed, four meters below the surface.

We are already getting excited to hear about the location and wait till you hear this; Sony has hired trained divers who are going to escort shoppers to its underwater shop where people will “be able to stand on the seabed and breathe perfectly normally” while they look at the Sony products. Rüediger Odenbach, Vice President of Sony Mobile Middle East and Africa, has said that the idea of this Aqua store is going to give customers “an exhilarating and unforgettable experience, highlighting Xperia’s passion for innovation in the smartphone market."
