Queen Latifah's daytime talk show will not be airing at the end of the year and has been cancelled according to reports.
People loved to see Queen Latifah in her very own show and now it seems like the show will be cancelled. Queen Latifah had many huge guests on her show and that is why people used to love her. It now seems that because Tyra Banks and Jerry O’Connell have been such big hits, someone would had to give way to them.

The TV channel had a ratings issue and that is why they decided to cut Latifah’s show. Many insiders say that they aren’t surprised that the show has been cancelled. They think that the show will make way for something fresh. One of the insiders said that when they launched the second season of the show, they knew it was going to be make it or break it.
The Queen Latifah show was the number one talk show in daytime. The main problem with the show was that its ratings weren’t high enough and may be that was the reason due to why it was cut off. The show’s ratings haven’t been rising according to reports and this second season hasn’t done wonders to the show.
That show only had 1.4 million viewers in total. Reports say that her audience is not increasing and those that are watching the show, they aren’t going anywhere. Some reports say that it was the host that didn’t wanted to continue the show. The reports also say that she had a good 1.4 million viewers and there was no reason to leave them behind.
When we look at Queen Latifah’s contract with the show, we will see that she only signed a two year contract. She might had been thinking that her contract wouldn’t be renewed and that could had been the reason she is deciding to not do the show.
Latifah recently went on her Facebook page and she posted a letter that was addressed to herself. In that latter she congratulated herself on being dedicated. She also said that she had made a lot of sacrifices in order to become a big star. She also said that she loved facing challenges.
Now we are hearing reports that Queen Latifah’s replacement is ready to take over as a morning host. May be Tyra Banks would take over the show as she is going to be available in fall 2015. Producers are worried whether putting two black women on TV will divide the audience.
