Scarlett Johansson publicly kisses her new husband at Gotham Awards.
It has been finally revealed and confirmed that Scarlett Johansson has married Romain Dauriac in Montana this October. The marriage with the French journalist Romain Dauriac comes just after the birth of their daughter.
A source revealed to PageSix that the two had married in a small and secret ceremony as they wanted to keep their marriage private. A clerk from Granite County confirmed Gossipcop that the actress and journalist married on October 1 in Philipsburg, Montana away from Scarlett’s hometown New York.
However this Monday at the Gotham Award’s in her hometown New York, the actress proudly revealed that she was married to Romain. A guest at the wards explained to DailyMail that Scarlett was introducing everyone to Romain as her husband and also showed the picture of her daughter Rose. She seemed very happy and that is all we want.
Scarlett, who turned 30 last month, became a mother in September and the couple did not want their daughter to grow in the spotlight and that is why it was kept secret. The couple initially started dating each other in 2012 and got engaged in August 2013. However no one had expected the sudden marriage as Scarlett herself had explained earlier that she did not want to rush into a marriage and wanted to enjoy her engaged life.
Scarlett at the Gotham Awards was seen wearing a black lace mini dress with long sleeves that showed her legs and kept her beautiful blonde hair slicked. Her most recognizable accessory was her diamond ring on her left wedding finger.
The newlywed couple was also seen showing their daughter’s pictures to Julianne Moore. Julianne also looked stunning in her plunging black and white dress. The Avengers actress had been nominated at the Gotham Awards for her role in the erotically charged drama ‘Under the Skin’.
Her competition included Julianne Moore for ‘Still Alice’, ‘Boyhood's’ Patricia Arquette, Gugu Mbatha-Raw for Beyond the Lights and Mia Wasikowska in ‘Tracks’. Although it was a very happy night for Scarlett it was not that lucky and she lost to Julianne Moore, who took the best actress award for ‘Still Alice’. Julianne was quite honored to receive the award and was seen posing with her co-star Heather Graham. Seems Romain has brought no luck for Scarlett!
Earlier this year in an interview with Glamour, Scarlett expressed her new view on marriage. She explained that when she first married she was quite young and since then she has worked more on getting to know her.
She also explained that now she is much more patient with her partner and maybe she thinks it comes with age. At that time she had expressed no desire to marry Romain Dauriac but rather explained that they were just getting in the flow and knowing each other.
