The latest promotional campaign to lure in more members
We might think that Spotify has crossed and done with that stage where you have to convince more people to try out services and get memberships. Having a huge membership base, Spotify remains to be one of the biggest names when it comes to online music streaming but somehow it still feels the need to convince more people into getting a membership. And this approach is just proving beneficial for the potential customers. In their most recent promotional campaign, Spotify’s premium services can be used for as long as three months and only for $0.99. This has of course driven a lot of music lovers crazy since the services on a premium level usually cost up to $9.99 for a full month.

It has been a while since Spotify has kept its policy intact which offers new customers the one month of free access but this new promotional offer, which tethers customers to a very small monthly fee and offers 12 weeks long time to find their feet, has more zest than any other. Once the three months are over, users will be asked to get a membership starting at the usual $9.99 per month. This approach seems to have a brilliant marketing tactic; it is very unlikely that the users who would have spent so much time building playlists and getting used to the service would think about leaving now. They would certainly want to be in for the real deal.
As the popularity has spread across, Spotify has stretched its platform too and has incorporated new versions too apart from the Web app. It has now launched editions for Windows, OS X, Android, iOS and Windows Phone and he offer of $0.99 for the first three months is available on all of these platforms.
