I bet even Floyd didn’t expect what was to come. Earl is a friend of Hayes and also his signed artist in Floyd’s recording company. So it’s natural to head out to your friend’s place when they were calling you to talk.
Hayes was convincingly oppressed over suspicions regarding his wife Stephanie Moseley. The VH1 dancer of the show Hit the Floor was allegedly having an affair with Trey Songz, also known as Mr. Steal Your Girl.
Hayes accused Stephanie of infidelity and before anything else could happen pulled out a gun and shot Stephanie. He then turned the gun on himself and shot it. The police were notified by the neighbors when they heard a woman screaming followed by gunshots. The SWAT team broke down the door and found the three people, third being Floyd as the only witness.
Hayes was taken to the hospital while Stephanie was declared dead. Floyd has been recognized as the official on scene witness and has not disclosed the detail of the crime. He posted a picture of himself with Hayes wishing him an early recovery and urging him not to hurt himself again.
