DVA replaces DVD at CES 2015
  • DVA, a successor to DVD, has finally been revealed by Digital Video Archive at the international CES 2015.

The DVA is to be introduced as an alternative to the DVD at the CES 2015.

Digital Video Archive is to debut its DVA in place of the erstwhile DVD at the CES 2015. The age of movies, DVDs and various media is coming to an end. Millions of Americans and American organizations are in loss and can go into a state of crisis due to the end of the era of the digital video device.

This issue is given greater leverage due to the content downloaded on smartphones and iPods, iPads and iPhones throughout the global village. That is why the current situation of the DVD market is very horrific.

From the realm of physical media the new market that is emerging is one of cloud based solutions. This creates fresh horizons that are ever-expanding. The future belongs to DVA and all the consumers will download stuff from the dot.com site of the Digital Video Archive.

It has been a long time since DVDs were the order of the day. Today it is video streaming that is in vogue. Thus we are at a turning point in our history as far as our entertainment needs are concerned.

In addition to this many consumers make the silly mistake of leaving their entertainment material on their iPad or laptop in stored form. This only clogs up the memory bank and may also lead to many embarrassments.

The stuff gets stored and just sits there unused. What the DVA essentially does is to rationally take the cream of DVD technology and meld and splice it with MP4 file format. The metadata may be easily stored in cloud form.

Especially sharing of the entertaining stuff between one, two or many people is a possibility now. Video content whether it belongs to an institution or a group or has been engendered by a director with a cast of actors and actresses can be shared and spread like wildfire among the contacts on the cloud system.

That is the strength and vitality of the DVA. And all it will require of the customer or archiver will be a monthly rate of $20. DVA Deluxe is a software application designed to allow anyone to create fully authored DVA's using an automated workflow.

But the DVA software is costlier. It can be purchased for $80 to $140 depending on the number of seats the license is for. The very face of entertainment is about to change as it becomes more personalized and personified.
