LG electronics unveiled its new ‘Music Flow’ Smart Wi-Fi audio lineup today at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas. Through these series LG is giving the customers the privilege to choose what they want to hear and when they want to hear it.

All of this all can be done due to Google Cast technology that has been embded in these LG devices and alliances with other popular music streaming providers such a Rhapsody, Spotify, iHeartRadio and many more.

This new and flexible LG Music Flow Wi-Fi audio lineup is for the United States and it includes LG’s first battery-powered Portable Wi-Fi Speaker plus three additional Wi-Fi Speakers and three new upgraded Wi-Fi Sound Bars.

Consumer will be happy to hear that these speakers have been made compatible with Android and iOS devices. This allows the customers to build a custom home audio system that can be controlled easily using LG’s Music Flow mobile app.

The advantage of this app is that each LG Music Flow Wi-Fi device can be used independently or connected to one another device wirelessly.

Moreover the company will be proud as it is the first company with a device that will be using Google Cast. Why is this so good! Basically the Google Cast enables users to cast audio content from streaming services such as Google Play Music, Songza, Pandora and many more.

Suveer Kothari the Google Cast Director of Business Development stated that seeing the success of the Chromecast the company is thrilled to expand the Google Cast ecosystem by working with leading companies and manufacturers such as LG in order to include audio devices.

As explained before iHeartRadio has joined hands with LG Electronics in order to deliver virtually limitless music options for the LG Music Flow Wi-Fi series. iHeartRadio will be integrated into the new Music Flow Player app which will then enable users to easily enjoy thousands of live radio stations from across the country.

Users can even create their own custom station from a catalog of more than million songs and 800,000 artists. Moreover there are other streaming partners as well which include Spotify and TuneIn which will give the users a chance of having millions of other music options.

David VanderWaal, LG Electronics USA’s head of marketing stated that LG’s Music Wi-Fi series offers both music lovers flexibility and audio quality that will go beyond any other audio system that is being offered in the market.
