Tom Hanks is back with his buddy. Tom Hanks reunites with his sole companion, Wilson the bloodied volleyball on the Island from the movie ‘Cast Away’.
On Wednesday night veteran actor Tom Hanks was reunited with Wilson, his best friend after 14 years. Wilson is the blood-stained volley ball that served as a companion to Hanks in his ship wreck movie’ Cast away’ that was released in 2000.

During the game between the New York rangers and Boston Bruins at the Maddison Square Garden a cameraman spotted him and put him on the big screen. Then a volleyball was tossed at Tom Hanks while he was on camera.
At first Hanks appeared to be uncomfortable and waved at the fans but after Wilson was tossed in his lap and he recognized his long lost pal, he appeared to be delighted. Hanks then went on to cheer and pose with Wilson, while introducing him to the surrounding fans.
The NY Rangers posted a video of the funny and endearing moment on their official Instagram and Twitter accounts on Thursday. The video was captioned as ‘ICYMI at the #NYR game last night, Tom Hanks and Wilson were finally reunited! #BFF’, and shows Hanks and Wilson supposedly having the time of their lives.

The duo appeared to be perfect companions for the duration of the hockey game during which the New York Rangers claimed victory. Wilson probably brought his own set of luck to benefit the NY Rangers.
