Breaking News: A new report claims to have identified the infamous Jihadi John. He appeared in several beheading videos of ISIS.

Jihadi John is suppsed to be Mohammned Emwazi, a Kuwaiti-born British in his 20s, who lived in London. He lived in the house shown above. Jihadi John appeared in several beheading videos of ISIS. The Washington Post has reported the indentification of Jihadi John first.

The Post's source are friends and others familiar with his case. “I have no doubt that Mohammed is Jihadi John,” said one of Emwazi’s close friends who identified him in an interview with The Washington Post. “He was like a brother to me. . . . I am sure it is him.”

Mohammed Emwazi is from a wealthy family who grew up in West London. He graduated from college with a degree in computer programming. Emwazi travelled likely to Syria in 2012 and there joined the Islamic State.

The Washington Post cites another source for a British Human Rights Group that has met Emwazi before he left to Syria. 

“There was an extremely strong resemblance,” Asim Qureshi, research director at the rights group, CAGE, said after watching one of the videos. “This is making me feel fairly certain that this is the same person.”

The British intelligence was after Jihadi John, why the media is able to identify him and not the government is trouble some.
