The rapper’s Great Escape Tour has been postponed after her record label revealed it wouldn’t be ready in time.

Iggy Azalea is now rescheduling her The Great Escape Tour. According to an official statement released by Def Jam Recordings this delay in her tour is due to tour production delays. It was revealed today that Azalea’s North American tour has to be cancelled due to lack of promotion and conflict between her and the management.

However Def Jam Recordings maintains that in order to accommodate for the availability of the creative team and tour productions it was determined that this tour will not be ready on the scheduled dates. The Def Jam Recordings also stated to Billboard that Iggy wants to perform at her best for her fans and this is very important for Iggy. So in order that the performances are outstanding it will take more time in development.

Azalea in an interview recently stated that she wants everything to be perfect from the tour book to what someone wears. She said that everything is equally important and at the moment she is still trying to work on the initial stage design. This shows how serious Iggy is about her performances and fans.

Moreover there are rumors that suggest that there’s a rift between Azalea and her core team. However these rumors have been labeled as false by Iggy’s representative. Iggy’s representative stated that there is no truth behind this rumor that there is any rift between Iggy and her management.

In March Iggy had handed over control of her social media accounts which include her Twitter and Instagram accounts to her management. This was done after Iggy faced many controversies and a conflict with Azealia Banks.

Apart from this conflict she has also been involved in numerous other Twitter spats with famous artists such as Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and Eminem. Iggy Azalea has also criticized the media for posting photos of her when she was on a holiday. Even her last Instagram post suggested that she felt that her privacy has been breached.

She wrote that no one should be made to feel like their own home is a prison, clearly referring to her photos that were leaked. She also wrote that it is illegal to post images of someone in their home with a long range camera. Well Iggy is clearly disappointed. The last tweets that Iggy posted herself were that she was finding social media very negative and draining.

Iggy Azalea’s opening acts will be changed as Nick Jonas and Tinashe will no longer be her opening acts. The new opening acts for the rescheduled tour are said to be announced shortly. The spring tour will now be rescheduled to this fall and will start from September 18th in San Diego, California. The tour starts from California and ends in Arizona on the 27th of October.
