The aged Han Solo and Chewbacca show up for the first time in a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer that has just been released.

The second Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer has been released. This new trailer follows the first teaser that was released toward the end of last year. The new teaser trailer for the first time shows a scene with aged Han Solo (Harrison Ford, 72) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew, 70). Chewbacca did not age at all. Han Solo got gray hair. It has been 38 years since the release of the original Star Wars movie in 1977.

Harrison Ford is still able to pull off the daring Han Solo. The trailer shows several other characters and some action scenes. It also seems to confirm that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens plot is around the original lightsaber of Luke Skywalker. Badass Digest has revealed that bit of the secret plot last summer.

The new Star Wars teaser has gone viral with over 13.6 million views within the first 12 hours of release on Youtube. It is safe to say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be one of the biggest movies of 2015.

The release of the new Star Wars teaser has been accompanied by a Star Wars Celebration Event in Anaheim featuring Writer/Director/Producer J.J. Abrams and Producer Kathleen Kennedy on the Celebration Stage, joined by special guests. The 2 hour event has been published on Youtube.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams.

The cast includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.

They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

The film is being produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is Episode VII in the Star Wars Saga. Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18, 2015.
