The high quality music streaming service adds eight new markets.

TIDAL announced today that it is opening up eight new markets with New Zealand, Israel, Monaco, Lichtenstein, Andorra, Iceland, Thailand and Malaysia.

Jay Z's TIDAL is now available in 43 countries globally, the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, South Africa, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Singapore, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, France, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Turkey, Sweden, Romania, Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Poland, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany, New Zealand, Israel, Monaco, Lichtenstein, Andorra, Iceland, Thailand and Malaysia.

TIDAL offers 25 million songs and over 75,000 high quality videos, high fidelity sound quality, expertly curated content and editorial, and unique user experiences. TIDAL gives its members access to exclusive music, videos, tickets, merchandise and experiences that you can’t find anywhere else.

TIDAL has two pricing tiers: either $9.99 or $19.99 per month. Both pricing levels come with the same access to exclusive content and experiences, and the $19.99 tier has the added benefit of high fidelity sound, delivering the music to your ears the way the artists and producers intended it to be heard. There is no compression of the files, and the music is CD-level quality.

Note that purchasing a Tidal subscription through the Tidal iOS app is more expensive as Tidal is offsetting Apple's cut on the subscription fee. We recommend to only sign-up on tidal.com.

TIDAL music streaming experience at a glance:

• More than 25 million music tracks

• Lossless sound quality (FLAC/ALAC 44.1kHz / 16 bit - 1411 kbps)

• More than 75,000 music videos

• Curated Editorial provided by experienced music journalists and industry experts

• Dedicated apps available for iOS and Android phones and tablets

• Web player for PC/MAC

• Support for a wide range of home music network players

Jay Z tweeted earlier this week that Tidal has already 770,000 subscribers. At this point most subscribers are on the 30 day free trial.
