And Jill had been expecting a baby these days. When the labor contractions began, she was hopeful that things will go alright. But things didn’t go as planned. For one thing the baby was a breech baby.
Then it had a case of having excreted waste matter while in the womb. After many hours of unsuccessful contractions, the decision was taken to seek the services of science besides the praying and natural methodologies. Jill was rushed to the nearest hospital.
Derick was there all along by his beautiful wife’s side. He is a male who despite being conservative and religious believes that men ought to offer protection to and participate in the everyday chores that their wives perform.
It was a totally new feeling being a dad-to-be, he said. A time came when Jill Duggar’s waters broke. That was when things had passed the emergency stage and a C-Section had to be arranged for.
Things went as planned. In the past, the Duggars’ Matriarch Michelle had delivered 20 babies in her own times and one of them was a stillborn baby. It was a sad and sorrowful time for them when husband and wife had to return home and tell the many brothers and sisters that their baby sibling didn’t make it alive.
But to see their children in turn successfully produce grandchildren was a joy that few could put into words.
After the delivery was complete, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard lay down on either side and held the baby between them. It was named Israel. And when Jill held the baby to her breast for the first time, she thought to herself that every painful contraction had been worth it for this little one.
She also said out loud that she loved the child. Meanwhile, the baby shower of the newborn was attended by Derick too. Congratulations you two on bringing a new life on planet earth. Happy childrearing!
