Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande perform for the Happy Hippie Foundation in Unicorn and Mouse onesies!
Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande teamed up to perform the rock classic song ‘Don't Dream It's Over’ by the Crowded House for the Happy Hippie Foundation. The performance took place and was recorded in the backyard of Miley Cyrus and both the pop stars were wearing unicorn and mouse onesies.
The duet was collaborated by Miley and Ariana to collect funds for the Happy Hippie Foundation which aims to help the youth of the LGBT community. Miley Cyrus founded the Happy Hippie Foundation to help homeless and LGBT youth.
The session with Ariana is the second promised performance by Miley Cyrus to gain funds for her organization. Miley has teamed up with Facebook to carry put backyard sessions with various artists and her first session in the backyard was with Joan Jett and they both performed the song ‘Different’.
The backyard sessions will include videos and performances with various artists just for the sake of charity. Other musicians who have pledged to appear in one of Miley’s backyard sessions include the transgender punk rocker Laura Jane Grace.
The session between Miley and Ariana started with both singers cosily sitting on a ballooned up sofa and mikes in their hands, while a partially concealed band plays behind them.
The first lyrics is sung by Ariana who shows off her wide vocal range, while Cyrus is only relegated to the ‘Hey Now, Hey Now’ part of the song. Even though Cyrus is trying to raise funds and it’s not a competition we couldn’t stop comparing how inadequate Miley Cyrus’s vocals are when compared to Arinna Grande.
Miley then posted the video on her official Facebook page and thanked Ariana for the collaboration. Miley even called Ariana the sweetest little bear mouse ever.
