Avery Talbot a Taylor Swift fan who attended the 1989 concert shared a lengthy post on Taylor Swift website on how the bracelets saved three of her friend’s lives on Sunday.
Talbot explained in the post how her friends split up after the 1989 concert and three of them namely Elizabeth and Caroline Dazzio who were sisters along with a third friend drove home in the same car. One of the sisters fell asleep while driving late and crashed the car in an accident which could have been potentially fatal.
The car was totalled on the I-110/Scenic Highway exit, according to WBRZ, and the cell phones of the girls were out of battery which resulted in pitch darkness. Caroline Dazzio later recalled she could smell the gas and the smoke from the car but could not get out.
In complete darkness the three friends only had their light bracelets to help them which finally attracted another driver on the highway. The driver a lady pulled up beside the car and called 911 to help get the teens out of the car.
All three of the teens are currently in the hospital and will be released soon. Talbot mentioned in her post if the girls did not have their light bracelets they would never have been seen on the pitch dark highway.
As soon as Taylor Swift heard the news she shared it on her twitter and exclaimed she cannot believe how unreal the situation is but she is really happy the teens are doing well.
