He was speaking on the occasion of the Adam Carolla Show. The fan base is rabid with delight upon hearing that novel episodes will be forthcoming within the time span of a year.
"We're going to do another 17 episodes," Brian Grazer said in an interview with Bill Simmons. "So, stay tuned for Arrested Development."
Since Netflix is considering the whole thing, so is Brian Grazer. He expatiated on the fact that it would involve keeping all the cast members on board which was a very difficult proposition. Yet they were all like one big happy family and so no one would be kicked out of the ensemble.
Netflix has previously shown interest in the continuation of Arrested Development. And although the plans were dragging on, now it seems with a final deadline, the show must go on come hell or high water.
Netflix just may have made the best decision in its entire history with the resuscitation of Arrested Development for the future. Roughly 17 episodes will get aired when the right time comes.
