Xiaomi goes global with the Xiaomi Mi 4i

Xiaomi Mi 4i sees international limelight thanks to Uniqbe

The recent announced Xiaomi Mi 4i is up for grasp for those interested to get their hands on the all new and affordable android offering from the likes of Xiaomi. Initially the availability was limited to Asian markets which included Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and even India. Now, thanks to a Hong Kong based third party retailer, Uniqbe, the Xiaomi Mi 4i is finally going to see international light as the international pre-orders have just kicked in and it can be ordered practically from anywhere in the world.

Uniqbe is currently selling the Xiaomi Mi 4i for $240 plus shipping (that can set you back anywhere between $50-$60 depending on where you are ordering it from). After incorporating the shipping cost, the total price goes up to $300 which is a bit pricier as compared to the price at which is marketed in India which is around $200. Nevertheless, it still is a solid offering for the price. Coming over to specs, we are looking at a 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, an Octa Core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 GB Ram, 16 GB of internal storage (non-expandable), a 13MP main camera coupled with a 5 MP front facing shooter and a decent 3120 mAh battery.

All this wrapped around the latest offering from android, Android Lollipop customized with Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 user interface. The smartphone has also started to receive an update which is fixing the over-heating issue which was apparently reported by some user. All in all, the Xiaomi Mi 4i is a great buy for those looking for the best value for money smartphones, and we couldn’t be more excited about its international availability.
