The rapper was taken into custody after marijuana was found in his vehicle
Rapper Rick Ross was arrested for keeping marijuana in the vehicle and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession on Wednesday afternoon.

According to WSB-TV report, Rapper Rick Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was rolling along in Highway 279, Fayette County, Georgia when police pulled over her black Bentley for a window tint violation.
When county sheriffs reached close to it, they noticed strong smell of marijuana coming out of the vehicle and discovered five rolled marijuana cigarettes during the search. The 39-year old rapper was taken into the custody and charged with marijuana possession and a traffic violation. The rapper is reportedly remained in the jail but is likely to be bailed out soon due to the minor nature of the charges. According to sources, Ross was cooperative and gave officers no trouble at all.
This is the fourth time when Ross got himself in trouble over pot-related offense. Back in 2008, Rick Ross was arrested and charged with marijuana possession and carrying a firearm. In March 2011, he was busted for keeping marijuana in his hotel room in Shreveport, La. Last time, Rick Ross was found involved in a similar kind of offence was in June, 2014 when he was arrested following a concert at Greensboro Coliseum, North Carolina after he failed to appear in front of the court on a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge.
Ross is no stranger to other legal troubles as well. In 2008, a lawsuit was filed against him by DJ Vlad for assault and battery in Houston. Rick Ross also sued for copyright infringement in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Rick Ross owns a record label called “Maybach Music Group and has released many of his albums through it. Prior to emerging as a rapper, Ross has worked as a recreational officer in Florida.
