In America Jurassic World will open in 4,273 theaters and box office analysts predict the movie will make at least $125 million in America alone, according to Variety. Such a large release plan for the film is going to ensure Jurassic World rakes in some serious economics by the time screenings all around the world are done.
Some even predict Jurassic World is going to earn a large sum of $350 million by this coming Monday. The fact Jurassic World is another glimpse into an already beloved franchise and is being screened in major international markets is going to ensure the film will be huge in economics.
Although Jurassic World will be a sure winner in Summer 2015 it is not yet clear how big of a winner the film will be since that depends upon how much people like it. Calculating the success of a movie is not a reliable science and success finally depends on word of mouth between people.
Jurassic world was made with a $150 million budget so the studio is at least safe in knowing the budget will be earned back. However the profits of the film depend upon the overall plotline and the performances of the leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. It has been a decade since the third Jurassic film was released and the studio Universal spared no expenses when it came to marketing. The rest is in the hands of the audience.
