According to Bethenny she never made the decision to marry Jason Hoppy in 2010 going with her gut as she puts it. Bethenny who is an NYU alumni who majored in Psychology and Communications at the NYU Alumni Association Speakers on the Square event spoke about her belief in going with your hut in every situation.
It was here that she was asked by an audience member about what her gut had told her about when she decided to marry Jason Hoppy to which she replied that her gut and instinct knew that her marriage would turn out to be the way it has.
"I think my instinct and gut going into my marriage [knew] it would turn out the way it did. I could feel it, but I intellectualized it. People are always talking about 'Do I go with my head or my heart?' Go with your gut," Bethenny said (via People).
She also explained that her decision was also influenced by her friends such as Andy Cohen. Bethenny warned the audience against listening to others over themselves.
She also said that all this is Andy Cohen’s fault and he will even admit it. She explained that the reason she wrote her book ‘I Such at Relationships So You don’t Have To’ was because she made a decision not out of truth but out of fear.
Even though seeing her rocky romantic life being screened out in real time on reality TV, Bethenny, 44, stated that she has no regrets whatsoever about filming the implosion of her marriage on her spin-off Bethenny Ever After.
She explained that once again her gut did not like doing a show with him. She explained that all along she did not feel right about it. Now Bethenny is once again back on The Real Housewives of New York City and joked around with the audience about her next spin-off. Apart from this Jason Hoppy was spotted with a woman just last week at a restaurant in Tribeca.
